Unlocking the Geologic History of Planets using Thermal, Radio, and Microwave Frequency-Based Exploration of our Solar System

Join Associate Professor Ali M. Bramson (Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences, Purdue University) for a seminar exploring how thermal, radio, and microwave remote sensing technologies are helping scientists uncover the geologic history of planets and moons across our Solar System. Drawing on examples from Mars, the Moon, and other planetary bodies, Bramson will discuss discoveries related to buried ice, ancient lava flows, and planetary surface processes, as well as the future of robotic and human space exploration.
