Ph.D. in Physics, The Ohio State University M.S. in Physics, The Ohio State University B.S. in Physics, Peking University.
Research Interests
Synthesizing, engineering, and characterizing novel 2D materials and heterostructures with exotic quantum phenomena driven by non-trivial topology and electron correlation.
Research Impact
We take an interdisciplinary approach by crafting novel materials and heterostructures, making them into functional devices, and performing in-operando studies on these devices with our multi-modal scanning probe microscopy. Our goal is to illuminate the microscopic intricacies underlying diverse quantum phenomena within these materials, and explore their potential application in nanotechnology and quantum information science.
